With school back in full swing (for me at USF) and trying to get ready for Italy, getting a duplicate driver’s license (don’t even get me started) I don’t know where the hours in a day go! Luckily I have had some wonderful young men that have been helping me out on the farm. Sean, and A/C Refrigeration Student, is between classes and he is very mechanical. Jose, well he keeps daughter occupied and they can cook and clean together. Aaron is a sweet young man with a real gift for the animals. He talks to them like I do which gives him mega brownie points!
We put landscape cloth over the young chicken pen today and moved them all out of the inside stall. Young Cobbler went to his new home tonight with Rebekah. Young Blossom went to her new home at Alonso with Taylor earlier in the week so I am without baby goats for a little while.
The front of the bunkhouse is a major improvement, the tack room was cleaned this week and the barn is looking better every day! I won’t get to clean any more until next week with hitting the books with an assignment due on Sunday night. Oh my, what was I thinking taking two classes this time.
Going to pour a glass of wine, go sit and watch my goaties for a few and then pack the car for tomorrow’s Seminole Market. Cheers!
